Dr. Kyle Maxam

Optometrist

Owner of EyeDocs Family Eye Care received his undergraduate degree at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. He went on to study optometry at the University of Missouri St. Louis, earning his doctoral degree in 2016. During his optometric training, Dr. Maxam took part in 2 optometric humanitarian mission trips to Haiti where he and his team provided vision care to thousands of Hatians.

Following graduation, Dr. Maxam worked alongside Dr. James Dickey at EyeDocs for 2 years before taking ownership in 2018 upon Dr. Dickey’s much-deserved retirement! Dr. Maxam takes pride in forwarding Dr. Dickey’s vision of EyeDocs in creating a modern, full-service optometry clinic built with state-of-the-art technology.

Dr. Maxam, his wife Hilary, and their kids Oliver, Julia and Barrett are proud to call Brookville their home! In his free time, Dr. Maxam enjoys staying active with coaching his kids soccer teams, running, hiking, camping, going on adventures with his family!

Dr. Cara Wampler

Optometrist

Dr. Wampler, a native of Huber Heights, OH, received her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013. She went on to study optometry at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she received her doctoral degree in 2017. During her optometric training, Dr. Wampler also took part in an optometric humanitarian mission trips to Haiti.

Following graduation, Dr. Wampler completed a residency in ocular disease at the Dayton VA Hospital where she gained extensive experience in treating all types of ocular disease.

Dr. Wampler, her husband Sean, and their daughter Haley reside in the Huber Heights area. In her free time, Dr. Wampler enjoys spending time with her family!

Dr. Baughman

Optometrist

Dr. Baughman joined our EyeDocs Team in July of 2023. Dr. Baughman brings vast experience in ocular disease to our team from his nearly 25 years working alongside local ophthalmologist, Dr. Peets. Dr. Baughman is excited to serve his hometown of Brookville, where his wife and kids reside!

Dr. Baughman is active in his community- often seen alongside Dr. Maxam on the sidelines of Westbrook Soccer Park coaching their little ones!
